Unfortunately, its disadvantages greatly increase the burden on caregivers and damage the experience of users. To overcome these problems, our multidisciplinary team produced iCAN, a tablet-based APP system that involves adopting the successful aspects of the paper-made PECS approach and incorporating advantages of an electronic device into several features to make the learning process easier. 11 children with autism participated in the experiments to experience iCAN. The changes in their user experience demonstrate the benefits of iCan as an orange technology. ? 2013 IEEE.APPS; Autism; Design; HCI; User Experience[SDGs]SDG3APPS; Autism; Children with autisms; Communication skills; Multi-disciplinary teams; Pedagogical approach; Pedagogical systems; User experience; Citrus fruits; Design; Diseases; Human computer interaction; Learning systems; EducationICAN: A tablet-based pedagogical system for improving the user experience of children with autism in the learning processconference paper10.1109/ICOT.2013.6521186
