This report presents a female patient with a rapidly deteriorating clinical course. Computed tomographic scanning revealed multiple brain abscesses. Aspiration of one of the lesions yielded pus and positive acid-fast stained bacilli. The pathogenesis of multiple tuberculous brain abscesses is discussed. |
