The TiO2 nanoparticles were deposited on ITO-coated glass by spin coating, and characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The P3MeT films were then electrodeposited onto the porous TiO2 film for junction formation. Instruments of AFM and electron spectroscopy for chemical analysis (ESCA) were utilized to examine the surface morphology and chemical composition of the P3MeT/TiO2 hybrids, respectively. The performance of the photovoltaic cell fabricated from as-prepared donor/acceptor hybrid was evaluated. © 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved. |
