To assess whether human placental mesenchymal stem cell (PMSC) therapy can be an effective treatment option, we established a murine model of hvKP-IAI to evaluate immune cell modulation and bacterial clearance for this highly lethal infection. This protocol can rapidly assess potential therapies for severe bacterial IAIs. For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Wang et al. (2020). |
