Information theory is widely used in adaptive filtering systems. The maximum correntropy criterion (MCC) has been used as a cost function for localized similarity measurement. This paper proposes a correntropy-based data selective MCC algorithm to resist impulsive noise. The weight updating rate can be reduced to a predetermined value without dropping its normalized mean-square deviation (NMSD) performance. Computer simulations were used to confirm the advantages of our proposed algorithm. |
