Publication A 10-Gb/s Inductorless CMOS Limiting Amplifier with Third-Order Interleaving Active Feedback(2007) ;Huang, Huei-Yan; ; Huang, Huei-Yan;Chien, Jun-Chau;Lu, Liang-HungThis paper presents an inductorless circuit technique for CMOS limiting amplifiers. By employing the third-order interleaving active feedback, the bandwidth of the proposed circuit can be effectively enhanced while maintaining a suppressed gain peaking within the frequency band. Using a standard 0.18-μm CMOS process, the limiting amplifier is implemented for 10-Gb/s broadband applications. Consuming a DC power of 189 mW from a 1.8-V supply voltage, the fabricated circuit exhibits a voltage gain of 42 dB and a -3-dB bandwidth of 9 GHz. With a 231 -1 pseudo-random bit sequence at 10 Gb/s, the measured output swing and input sensitivity for a bit-error rate of 10 -12 are 300 and 10 mVPP, respectively. Due to the absence of the spiral inductors, the chip size of the limiting amplifier including the pads is 0.68 × 0.8 mm2 where the active circuit area only occupies 0.32 × 0.6 mm2. © 2007 IEEE.conference paper2Scopus© Citations 105 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication A 10-year review of health care reform on Family Practice Integrated Care Project-Taiwan experience(Oxford University Press, 2018); ; ;Chen C.-Y.; ;Lee M.-C.Chyi-Feng Jan;Chiu T.-Y.;Chen C.-Y.;Guo F.-R.;Lee M.-C.Objective. Taiwan has launched a Family Practice Integrated Care Project (FPICP) to develop an accountable family doctor system since March 2003. We aim to report the effectiveness of this nationwide demonstration programme over a 10-year period. Methods. Papers and reports related to the FPICP published both in English and in Chinese from 2003 to 2015 were collected systematically based on keywords including 'family doctor', 'primary care', 'integrated care' and 'Taiwan'. Also collected and reviewed were national health insurance administration annual reports and related publications from Taiwan Association of Family Medicine. Quality care indicators including structure, process and outcome for programme monitoring were reported. Results. Up to June 2015, the project had enrolled a total of 10.5% of Taiwan's population. Approximately 24.9% of primary care physicians and 29.7% of community clinics joined the project to serve the members of 426 community health care groups (CHCGs). Compared to non-members, CHCG members received more preventive care services, especially in adult health examination (49% versus 19%), Pap smear (29% versus 22%), elderly influenza vaccination (42% versus 28%) and immunochemical faecal occult blood test (43% versus 31%) (P < 0.01). Members showed a markedly high level of satisfaction (>95%), especially in overall satisfaction, provision of health consultation and information, and improvement in understanding personal health condition. Conclusions. In the future, through the support of family physicians and CHCGs, a person-centred integrated health care delivery system can be an effective solution to the current barriers in the medical care system. ? Publication 12-in. wafer imprinting using soft mold and gas pressure mechanism(2004) ;Cheng F.S ;Weng Y.C; ; Cheng F.S;Weng Y.C;Yang S.Y;Wang L.A.In this paper, a new concept and mechanism has been developed, the PDMS mold is used and the gas pressure mechanism is employed for 12-in. wafer nanoimprint. As illustrated in Fig. 1, the gas pressurized imprinting process consists of four steps: (1) placing the substrate with resist onto the stamper of chamber B, which is then placed above a heating/cooling plate; (2) enclosing the chamber B and vacuuming, and then heating the substrate/mold stacker; (3) blowing the gas into the chamber A to exert gas pressure uniformly over the substrate, forcing it into the mold and imprinting resist; (4) exhausting the chamber A gas and blowing the chamber B gas, and then opening the chamber A to get the substrate with patterns. In experiment process, PDMS mold was cast and assembled. The resist used was PMMA. Nitrogen gas was used as pressing media. The seal film/PDMS mold/wafer stack is placed in a closed chamber. Then the gas is introduced into the chamber for pressing the stack. Excellent contact and uniform imprinting pressure throughout the whole area can be achieved. The experiment was carried out at temperature of 180°C with a gas pressure of 30 bar. The gas pressure was held constant for 5 minutes. Results showed that the patterns were reproduced in the PMMA resist (Fig. 2). This paper has reported an innovative method and mechanism for large area imprinting using direct gas pressure to press the soft mold and substrate. Successful replication of submicron features on fully 12-in. wafer by one imprinting step and it can achieve high replication throughput at, potentially, low cost.conference paper4 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Publication 12吋晶圓製造服務佳化工具與標竿環境之研發─子計畫二:半導體製造之協同式規劃與排程的促成技術研究(2/3)The semiconductor supply chains are long in geographical distance, segmented in ownership, varied in business objectives, and demanding in collaboration. The challenges of supply chains lie in effective collaboration between engineering and manufacturing, service monitoring and control, and achieving reliable delivery performance. The new paradigm of manufacturing services requires new methods of operation control. This project proposes to develop enabling methodologies for collaborative planning and scheduling in semiconductor supply chains. In the second year, our progress includes a study of system dynamics of production operation, and an analysis of the behavior of material flow in the chains. Our study plan for the next (3rd) year is to develop control methods and to use scheduling tools to evaluate the performance of the control methods.report2 8 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Publication 131I-6β-iodomethyl-19-norcholesterol SPECT/CT for primary aldosteronism patients with inconclusive adrenal venous sampling and CT results(2009); ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ;KAI-YUAN TZEN; ; ; ;Chang H.-W.; ;Hu F.-C.; ; ; ;Kuo C.-C. ;Chang F.-C.; Hsieh B.-S.The 2 main causes of primary aldosteronism (PA) are aldosterone-producing adenoma (APA) and idiopathic adrenal hyperplasia (IAH). Dexamethasone-suppression (131)I-6beta-iodomethyl-19-norcholesterol (NP-59) adrenal scintigraphy can assess the functioning of the adrenal cortex. This study evaluated the diagnostic usefulness of NP-59 SPECT/CT in differentiating APA from IAH and in predicting postadrenalectomy clinical outcome for PA patients who had inconclusive adrenal venous sampling (AVS) and CT results. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the 31 adrenal lesions of 27 patients (age range, 33-71 y; mean age +/- SD, 50.4 +/- 10.9 y) who had been clinically confirmed (by saline infusion and captopril tests) to have PA, had inconclusive CT and AVS test results, and had undergone NP-59 imaging before adrenalectomy. The accuracy of NP-59 imaging was determined by comparison with histopathologic findings. Results: NP-59 SPECT/CT gave us 18 true-positive, 3 false-positive, 6 true-negative, and 4 false-negative results. Compared with planar imaging, SPECT/CT significantly improved diagnostic accuracy and prognostic predicting ability (P = 0.0390 and P = 0.0141, respectively). The NP-59 results were negative for 7 of the 23 patients with unilateral adrenal lesions, and none of these 7 patients had shown postsurgical clinical improvement. Conclusion: NP-59 SPECT/CT is an effective imaging tool for differentiating APA from IAH in PA patients whose CT and AVS results are inconclusive. Our results suggest that patients with presurgically negative NP-59 results should be treated medically and that noninvasive NP-59 SPECT/CT may be suited for use as the first lateralization modality after CT in patients with clinically confirmed PA.journal article6Scopus© Citations 111
