本研究將藉由動物實驗與細胞實驗，探討胎盤的galectin-7對於孕期胰島素阻抗與血糖調節的作用，以了解galectin-7在妊娠糖尿病致病機轉中的角色與相關機轉，並由人類研究探討血中galectin-7做為GDM生物指標的可能性。
