Description
原發性皮質醛酮症患者有較高的心血管疾病風險及心肌纖維化之現象,但目前藥物仍未仍未盡理想。近來研究指出GDF-15可調節巨噬細胞來改善纖維化。我們的初步研究發現metformin會透過GDF-15改善皮質醛酮引起的巨噬細胞浸潤並抑制心肌纖維化,但詳細機轉仍不清楚。我們希望藉由模式生物來探討這個問題並釐清其路徑,了解皮質醛酮造成的心肌巨噬細胞浸潤的巨噬細胞來源以及並且探討GDF-15在其中的角色。透過本研究可以更了解metformin的作用機轉及療效,進一步改善目前病患的治療現況。
