Abstract
This dissertation tends to explore the mystical dimension of hsin-hsüeh of Yang- ming School. The most outstanding characteristic of Yang-ming School is the pro- found experinces of Enlightment(satori). No doubt, these experiences are mystical and played an key role in construction of the Technology of the self. Mystical ex- periene, to sum up in a word, is the “Oneness experience” occurred in self, hence marked the peak of self-realization. This dissertaion labeled Yang-ming Sinshue where I chose WangYang-ming, Luo Nian-an, Wang Long-xi, Wang Sin-Jia and Luo Jin-xi as the contexts as a kind of Technology of the self, and from the mystical dimension─the core experiences of enlightment, demonstrated the deep meanings of the Process of Enlightment and thepractical teachings based on the core insights.
