Abstract

Peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), a novel minimally invasive treatment for esophageal achalasia, has been shown to be effective and safe for both adult and pediatric patients. However, studies on its application in children in Taiwan and its impact on growth and esophageal motility are lacking.
