中央圖書館與北京圖書館之比較

This article explores the functions and present development of the National Central Library and the National Library of China (i.e. Beijing Library) , compares the two national libraries and tries to blueprint the cooperation plan between the two libraries. The comparative method is used in this article with four steps covering description, interpretation, juxtaposition and comparison. In the article the comparison of the two libraries is made from eight facets, including functions, organization, technical services, public services, library automation, international cooperation, research activities, and bibliographic control.
