Abstract
Learning Chinese has become a trend. The characteristics of digital publishing are contributive to global dissemination of related culture. In this research, the literature analysis and in-depth interview methods are used to study the current status of digital publishing industry in main Chinese areas-Taiwan and Mainland China. Moreover, we analyze and compare the strengths and weaknesses of digital publishing industry in Taiwan and Mainland China based on four facets (technology, licensing models, contents, and business models).
