Abstract
In this report, we presented a prototype development for amperometric blood glucose measurement with the aim to improve data collection and remote attentions for diabetic. The system consists of a single chip microprocessor (80C196KC), a current-to-voltage converter circuit, and other peripherals. This compact system is capable of dual mode operation, in either amperometric or cycle voltammetric measurement with fully digital control. It thus can be used as a portable instrument for in-situ functional analysis or real-time measurement of micro-electrochemical sensors.
