An effective recruitment of T-cells in these conditions requires a prompt migration of T-cells from vascular trees to the pathological targets. However, the effects of increased fluid pressure on T-cell motility and other activities such as cytotoxicity of cancer cells have been barely addressed. In the present study, we demonstrated microfluidic-based platforms that have potential in studying the effects of hydrostatic pressure on the motility of T-cells and the effects of applying pressures on the T-cell mediated cytotoxicity of cancer cells. ? 14CBMS. |
