Abstract
This paper presents the design and measurement results of a radiated power sensor at 38 GHz. This power sensor includes a patch antenna on PCB and a CMOS detector die mounted on the same PCB. Antenna and die are connected by bondwires. Matching network between antenna and bondwires is also designed to compensate the inductive effect of bondwires. The measured minimum detectable power is -38 dBm. This is a compact radiated power sensor module that can be used to measure incident power for the antenna array calibration.
