Abstract
In recent years, subjects on green energy production have attracted much attention worldwide. It is urgent to cut down on energy consumption and to reduce carbon footprint. In 2010, the International Energy Agency announced a blue map, declaring that the global CO2 emissions should be reduced to 14 billion tons before 2050. Thus, environment-friendly TE materials have begun to gain attention due to the capability of power regeneration and its negligible carbon emission so as to transform industrial and automotive waste heat into renewable clean energy. © 2018 by Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
