Abstract
The composite fermion conductivity dependence on carrier density was experimentally studied. The measurements were carried out at both Landau level filling factor nu=1/2 and nu=3/2 in high-quality front-gated heterostructures. The measured exponent from the power law relation was found to be in quanlitative agreement with theoretical predictions based on a random magnetic field approximation in the electron density distribution.
