Abstract
In this part we give a systematic derivation of the long wave equations in water and fluid mud layers. Based on the assumption of small depth/wave-length ratio, a perturbation analysis is carried out for a fluid-mud modeled by a generalized Bingham fluid with two viscosities. The results confirm the heuristic derivation given in Part I, and clarifies the regime of validity. © 1992.
