Abstract
The experimental consequences of a model that links CP nonconservation with horizontal interactions and is based on the gauge group SULW(2)SURH(2)UY(1) are investigated. The magnitude of the observed CP nonconservation and that of the KL-KS mass difference constrain the horizontal gauge boson masses (MR) such that 66 TeVMR>5 TeV. The model implies an extremely small value for
. The branching ratio for KLe (Ke) could be greater than 10-10 (10-12). QFD vanishes at the tree level. The contribution from the gauge sector, arising at two loops, is also discussed. © 1985 The American Physical Society.
