Abstract
This paper investigates the advantages of several typical flexure revolute connectors and presents series of optimization procedure for designing a highly, effective, and uniformity compliant joint. A new revolute compliant joint is demonstrated, which bases on design optimization to offer great improvements over the features: (a) increasing range of motion (b) reducing off-axial drift and (c) minimizing stress concentration. An analytically preliminary function is introduced for predicting geometrics of prototypes, and then an objective function regarding axial drift for optimization are provided to verify parametric models in nonlinear finite element analysis. The optimized configuration model is fabricated, and its experimental data are compared with numerical prediction as well.
本研究調查數種典型撓性旋轉接頭的優點,提出一系列最佳化程序,用以設計具高效率和均勻性的相容接頭。本研究介紹一新穎撓性相容接頭,此接頭的最佳化設計乃本於大幅改善下述功能:(a)增加作動範圍、(b)減少離軸漂移和(c)減少應力集中。文中先介紹初步分析方法,用以預測原型的幾何形狀。並利用軸飄移的最佳化目標函數,驗證非線性有限元分析中所需的模型參數。最後,將最佳化成果製成實體模型,並比較實驗數據與數值分析成果。
