Abstract
A theory of time-resolved second harmonic generation(SHG) from molecules at interface has been developed by using the perturbative density matrix method. The mechanism of the time-resolved SHG Is clarified from the microscopic point of view. The time-resolved SHG method is shown to be a new method of investigating dynamics of the correlated molecules at interface, such as intermolecular vibronic dephasing and intermolecular vibronic coherence transfer. © 1991, The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
