Abstract
In recent years, the optical properties of piezoelectric materials have attracted much interest. We developed a new photoconductive piezoelectric material by integrating P(VDF-TrFE) and TiOPc to create a new composite. This new composite material not only retains good piezoelectric efficiency but also possesses high sensitivity to visible light. We analyzed photoconductivity before and after light illumination at different wavelengths to confirm the potential benefits and advantages of this newly developed material. An equivalent circuit of a P(VDF-TrFE) & TiOPc composite was simulated and verified experimentally. Our results show that our P(VDF-TrFE) & TiOPc composite can be applied to microfluidic chips for particle manipulation. The experimental results establish the basic material properties and the electrical model for future modification.
