Abstract
Cushing's syndrome is related the excess of glucocorticoid in the body of the patient, resulting in the specific abnormality and pathological changes. This disease may be classified according to the origin of excess of glucocorticoid, and whether it is ACTH dependent. Cushing's disease is related to the overproduction of glucocorticoid from the stimulation of ACTH of the pituitary tumor. This consensus of diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of Cushing's disease is formed after several meetings of specialists in this field in Taiwan, to provide for the reference of management of this disorder by the readers.
