Abstract
The UAV is used in modern war widely. The military can control the UAV and send image to remote base in time through satellite link. Currently the Civil UAV use the wireless analog video and RF control signal to provides similar function as a recon drone. However the wireless station has its communication limitation -- range. Most of the people use 2.4G to replace the satellite communication. We try to use 3G communication for civil UAV to extend the service range to "unlimited". We design a path planning algorithm for considering connection with cellular data network. By our algorithm, the UAV will try to avoid fly across no-signal area. With our idea, we can provide low cost civil UAV service for various applications.
