Abstract
An efficient and convenient method for the preparation of conjugated and highly sterically hindered dicyanoethylenephenol derivatives was described. The corresponding blue phenoxyl radicals were generated from the oxidation of the dicyanoethylenephenol precursor with alkaline K3Fe(CN)6 in benzene. © 1995.
