High Speed Data Transmission under Voltage Modulation of Transistor Lasers

Abstract
We construct the modified rate equations and small-signal model of transistor lasers and simulate eye diagrams under voltage and current modulation, showing that voltage modulation provides better signal transmission integrity up to 30 Gb/s.
