Abstract
We performed in vivo THz-fiber-scanning transmission imaging study on a subcutaneous xenograft mouse model for early human breast cancer detection. We continuously monitored the growth of human breast cancer in mice. The in vivo study indicates the THz imaging can distinguish cancer cells from the surrounding fatty tissue with a high sensitivity. ? 2011 IEEE.
