Abstract
Pulsatile tinnitus has various etiologies, including atherosclerotic carotid artery disease. We present a woman who had been bothered by pulsatile tinnitus of the right ear which resulted from carotid artery stenosis. We also describe how to approach and make the correct diagnosis, and to use a less-invasive method to treat this problem.
