Abstract
After the first WiPDA held at Columbus, United States in 2013, supported by IEEE and PELS, it has become an annual event for researchers on wide bandgap power devices and applications. After four successive WiPDA workshops, the first WiPDA-Asia was held at Xi'an, China in 2018, in hopes of becoming a new platform for wide bandgap power devices and applications researchers in the Asia-Pacific region to exchange their research and ideas.WiPDA-Asia will be an exciting event for device scientists, circuit designers, and application engineers to meet and exchange their ideas and latest outcomes. This year we have around 150 participants from around the world, with 14 keynotes, 3 tutorials, 5 invited talks, 22 oral presentations and 22 poster presentations.Along with 11 exhibition booths. We are very pleased to acknowledge the support of sponsors from industry and research institutes.
