Abstract
• Sampling residues of chemical compounds from skin surface is challenging. • Here, oil-control blotting paper is used to lift chemical residues from skin. • The absorbed analytes are readily re-extracted by an organic solvent. • The proposed method is non-invasive and easy to implement. • Kinetics of residue retention on the skin surface can readily be characterized.
