The WNBDS is composed of body implant sensors, a local monitoring unit, and a remote central control server to achieve an online monitoring and remote healthcare system. The signal analysis and diagnostic algorithms for the biomedical signal diagnostic platform is implemented with an embedded system. At this stage, the Electrocardiagram (ECG or EKG) as a physiological signal is first analyzed as an example in this thesis. The ECG signal processing is based on the wavelet analysis and the diagnosis is based on fuzzy clustering. The diagnostic mechanics is also embedded in the system. The embedded system is realized with the Windows CE operating system. |
