Stable sulfonium ylides are readily prepared from thermolysis of dimethyl-, dibenzyl-, dibutyl-, and diphenyl- sulfoxides with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate in reasonable yields. © 1988, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
