Abstract
The Chinese population has been shown to have more distal colonic neoplasm and a higher sensitivity of sigmoidoscopic screening strategy for detecting advanced neoplasm compared with Western populations. This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy of the mixed screening strategy with sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy in the average-risk Chinese population.
