A PVA matrix film, with high compressibility, is made between top and bottom substrates by screen-printing technique with conductive inks followed by the face-to-face assembly. The contact areas between the substrates increases when an external force is applied, resulting the increment of charge carrier conduction and reduction in ECR value. These tactile sensors, which possess high biocompatible and high sensitivity (1.99 kPa-1) in subtle pressure range (0~0.5kPa), are worn and tested for potential health-monitoring applications. |
