Title: | The influence of shear stress generated by osmotic driven flow on the alignment of endotheliial cell | Authors: | Sie, Zong Han Wu, Lu Wei Chang, Yen Yu Toh, Yi Chin YA-YU CHIANG |

Here, we developed a pump-free microfluidic chips to simplify the structure of biochips and improve the flow stability during in situ cell-culture using osmotic pressure. The osmotic pressure drives culture medium smoothly in the microchannel, creating a constant shear stress that endothelial cells experience similarly in human micro-vessels. The aligned arrangements of endothelial cells under tunable shear stress would be presented. |
