Abstract
Due to the presence of highly scattered inclusions or impurities on the surface or inside of the tooth, resulting in loss of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) signal under the aforementioned defects including image-accurate assessment teeth. In this study, we developed a multi-view multiplexing algorithm based on the nearest point repeat (ICP) algorithm to reconstruct the missing information. The use of a biaxial angle stage allows for multi-view images to be obtained at varying degrees of control. The result of our proposed method is that it is possible to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) of dental OCT images.
