Abstract
This research proposes a monolith-modified paper microfluidic analytical device for high-sensitivity tuberculosis detection. The fabrication conditions of the proposed device are discussed, wherein heating the monolith-modified paper at 80̊C is chosen for the wax melting step. For enzymatic reaction time, it is set at 5 minutes. Lastly, a tuberculosis test is performed with the detection limit of the device being 0.11 ng/mL. Results suggest that the device is sensitive for tuberculosis tests in resource-limited settings.
