本研究計畫的目的在於了解GPR18在葡萄糖恆定與肝臟脂肪變性、發炎和纖維化所參與的調節機制，並探討GPR18在周邊血液單核球的表達量及血清中GPR18配體濃度與MASLD嚴重程度之間的相關性，藉以闡明其在第2型糖尿病和MASLD發展過程中的角色。希望藉由這項研究為第2型糖尿病和MASLD的致病機轉提供深入了解，並為未來治療方法的開發提供新的方向。
