Abstract
(Current Biology 34, 1794–1800.e1–e3; April 22, 2024) Since publication, we have learned that Ruairidh Duncan and Jaime Bran created earlier reconstructions of Fucaia, which were copied without our knowledge in the artwork of Figure 4: the body shape of Fucaia humilis in the foreground was created by R. Duncan and F. humilis in the middle by J. Bran. The authors acknowledge the earlier reconstructions by R. Duncan and J. Bran and apologize for this oversight; the published article has been updated with credits in the figure legend and acknowledgments. This correction does not affect the conclusions of the original publication.
