Abstract
The key to presupposition of victory or defeat in sports is to have an effective prediction of others' action and have great motor preparation. In order to accurately predict others' intention, one must also possess the ability of awareness, comprehension and recognition. The mirror neurons are more sensitive to goal-directed actions, and its activity can be detected by mu rhythm. In the area of motor learning, the participants' comprehension of motor are getting quicker, their efficiency of motor learning will be better. In the sports arena, experts may make good use of mirror neuron system to identify others' action and enhance the advantage of competition. However, in past studies, the function of mirror neurons and its mechanism was less understood. Therefore, in this article, we have attempted to utilize mirror neurons to explore motor learning and sports performance in sub-cortical mechanism, and to offer an effective approach in predicting others' actions. Furthermore, suggestions for future application in sports are provided.
