Abstract
膜相關胜肽與膜蛋白在各種生物系統上均扮演著重要的角色,然而其結構鑑定被視為結構生物學的挑戰。現代核磁共振方法突飛猛進的發展,很適合用於蛋白與膜交互作用的結構探討。本文將以日前人人聞之色變的流行感冒病毒為系統,簡單介紹液態核磁共振技術應用於數個膜相關蛋白結構鑑定,使能清楚瞭解病毒生活史與提供藥物設計的策略。
Membrane associated peptides and proteins have been widely recognized to play the significant role in biological system, however methods for the structural determination are limited. Modern NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) technique is considered as an effective method for membrane-protein structural efforts. In this article, we briefly introduce the solution state NMR studies for the membrane associated peptide and protein of influenza virus, which have spread relentlessly across the globe since 2003. The solved structures provide insight into the viral fusion systems and structural information for drug design.
