Abstract
This paper presents a slot array antenna designed using a higher-order mode architecture, composed of five metallic layers. The design explores the filter coupling matrix of this framework and incorporates bowtie slots to enhance resonance frequency matching. The proposed antenna achieves a peak gain of 17.5 dBi and a -10 dB bandwidth spanning from 281 GHz to 297 GHz. The antenna is useful for terahertz communication and sensing applications.
