The proposed micro-inverter consists of a current decoupling tank (CDT) to absorb the partial PV current while a rectified sinusoidal current is injected into the AC grid. Therefore, the constant PV current can be decoupled into sinusoidal AC current. The circuit configuration, operation modes, and control strategy of the proposed micro-inverter are introduced. The proposed micro-inverter has reduced turns-ratio of the transformer and its magnetizing energy can be recycled. Finally, simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the feasibility of the current decoupling function for the proposed micro-inverter. © 2013 IEEE. |
