A transmitter array having two TX antennas with 90° separation in space is proposed to work with frequency diversity to provide a stable power reception under rotation. A short dipole antenna pattern in the receiver is assumed. The received power after time average is the sum of power from each transmitter even when frequency beating from two transmitting antennas occurs. The received power is therefore constant under rotation. As both transmitters are turned on simultaneously, this scheme can deliver more power than the previously proposed time switching modulation scheme. Measurement results at 915MHz using a dipole antenna for receiver show stable received power under rotation. ? 2021 IEEE. |
